Comprehensive Car Insurance
As the name suggests, Comprehensive car insurance covers most eventualities including damage to your own vehicle where you are at fault. You can expect to pay a higher premium for Comprehensive car insurance but for most people it’s worth it when compared to the expense of repairing or even replacing your car following an accident where you were at fault.
Third Party Fire and Theft Car Insurance
If you decide you don’t need Comprehensive cover (perhaps for a second car that wouldn’t cost much to replace or repair), Third Party car insurance with Fire and Theft provides the minimum Third Party car insurance cover required by law, plus extra cover if your car is stolen, damaged or destroyed by fire.
